This is the new development since the last prototype :
The electronic board to control the motors for the translation has been remade and redesigned to solve previous synchronization issues.
New features have been implemented in the electronic board to create possible Bluetooth connections with both the remote control and the Smartphone for the future App.
A new, more powerful microprocessor has been implemented to get a faster computation time and better overall performances.
A removable battery pack was created and the system's design has been rethought to integrate this element. The goal is to allow the user to switch the battery when it's too low and keep an unlimited autonomy. The battery pack can be charged with a standard Micro-USB cable. Moreover if the Smartphone runs out of battery, a USB port has been integrated to charge the Smartphone. The battery pack has 4 LED gauges to indicate the remaining charge.
The system has been modified to be adaptable and flexible. The Gimbal part can now be separated from the system for other purposes and it allows also a compact transportation of the product.
The aluminum rail of the system has been manufactured. Since the system is extendable, it is necessary to ensure the assembly of the rail. The conception of all the parts (including the coaxiality and the holding in position) has been realized. The adapter element between the rail and any standard 3/4 screw camera tripod has also been created.
All the parts have been reviewed to be designed for manufacturing and designed for assembly. Moreover some optimizations have been made to increase the rigidity of the parts holding the Smartphone to increase stability.
